2024 Events & Activities
The following is a list of themed weekends and special events planned for the 2024 season.
There's plenty of fun, interesting (and often educational... but we won't tell!)
things to do and see at the campground. Join the fun from opening day in May through closing in October.
Our family friendly activities make every weekend special at Owls Landing Campground.
Use the schedule below as a guide to plan your weekends to camp with the assurance that
there will always be something fun to do!

May 24th- 27th
| Memorial Day Weekend
First long weekend of the camping season. Planned activities include Krafts for Kids and more! On Saturday May 25th - Music with "Alter Ego" in the Pavilion starting @ 7pm (campers & registered guests ONLY), and on Sunday May 26th, get your craft on and join us for Sign Making with Rebecca at 6pm.

June 1st | Wildlife Encounters!
Meet some special creatures, We wont say what they will be, but we know it will be exciting for us all. |
June 7th - 16th | Laconia Motorcycle Week Book your site early! |
June 15th | Paint Nite
Come join us for a fun evening of creating your own custom canvas painting! Join Stacey/Fig (Veggie Art Girl) in step-by-step instruction of creating a one-of-a-kind work of art. All art supplies included. $25 per person covers all materials needed. |
June 22nd | Second Chance Prom
Tickets go on sale May 3rd for this special event. Enjoy dining, dancing and Dueling Pianos with your Prom date. |

July 4th - 7th
| July 4th Celebration Weekend
On Saturday July 5th, enjoy Mad Science - Radical Reactions (see below) and on July 6th, we celebrate our Nation's birthday. Includes a campground BBQ, Annual Corn Hole tournament, fireworks, golf cart parade and more! Three night minimum for this weekend and guest fees are in effect. |
July 5th | MAC SCIENCE - Radical Reactions!
Are you ready for some kooky, crazy chemistry? Explore the difference between physical and chemical change in our Radical Reactions Show! Let us impress kids with our over-the-top demonstrations! We will release a genie from a bottle, and spew massive columns of foam with the use of a catalyst. |
July 20th | Line Dancing w/ Meagan Hiltz!
Put your cowboy boots on, grab your hat and join us for an evening of music and fun. |
July 27th | Musical Guest: Jodie Cunningham
Join us for a night of live entertainment as we welcome Jodie Cunningham to the campground. This show is for our campers and registered guests ONLY. |

Join us for a night of live entertainment as we welcome the band Texas Pete to the campground. This show is for our campers and registered guests ONLY.

August 17th | SkyWatch with the NH Astronomical Society
The New Hampshire Astronomical Society will be here to present a "Skywatch" using telescopes to look for celestial objects, including craters and mountains of the moon, planets, stars, and galaxies! (weather permitting). Open to all ages! The cloud/rain date for this event is August 24th 7:00pm.

August 30th - September 2nd
| Labor Day Weekend
Our annual Tie-Dye shirt activity and Drive-In movie on Saturday evening. Bingo for adults, Candy Bingo for the kids on Sunday evening. |
September 14th -
| MAD SCIENCE - Fire & Ice
This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and safe and fun fire demonstrations. Kids and parents alike are amazed by sizzling science, combustion and bubbly showers! |
September 21st -
| Pig Roast & Chili Contest
Delicious slow roasted pork dinner. Pot luck side dishes and desserts are welcome. Also, our annual camper chili contest. Fix up a crockpot of your best chili and try to win! |

| Columbus Day Weekend
Last long weekend of the season; last week for reservations. |
October 12th
| Annual Halloween Costume Party
Our final activity for the season! Trick-Or-Treat for the kids on Saturday evening followed by our annual Costume Party. Dance the night away in your Halloween costume. |
